Abstract

Education is a place for the learning process to occur which produces learning that is useful for students. The learning system continues to be evaluated and changes continuously as an improvement to the learning management system in schools, which is like changing the applicable curriculum. To answer some of the challenges of improving the quality of education in Indonesia, the Government launched Merdeka Learning as a curriculum that is ready to help change the existing education system in Indonesia. One of the programs in the independent curriculum is the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. In the success of the independent curriculum, counselors or guidance and counseling teachers in schools are expected to study comprehensively and thoroughly the independent curriculum program documents and immediately design counseling programs that support the successful implementation of the independent learning program. This type of research is literary, including the type of library research (Library research). Library research as for the approach in this study is a qualitative approach. So that this research will be able to answer what are the expectations of BK teachers in the implementation of the independent learning curriculum.
