Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic period changed learning activities to online, namely through the internet network which done at home without meeting directly with teachers at school. The learning activities that have gone on for almost two years have caused various obstacles related to students' interest in learning. The lack of student participation in online learning activities shows the low-interest in learning for teenagers. In guidance and counseling services, we can use role-playing techniques to increase youth's interest in learning. Role playing is a technique of playing a role by playing a play according to a predetermined script. Adolescents are school students at the junior high and high school levels. Indicators of assessment of adolescent learning interest in the form of interest, focus and feelings of liking for learning activities. This research is a literature review by collecting relevant sources of information related to the role of role-playing techniques in increasing adolescent learning interest. The purpose of the study was to look at the application of role-playing techniques in increasing adolescent interest in learning during the covid-19 pandemic so that it can be used as a source of information in dealing with problems of low-interest in learning.
