Penerapan Pendidikan Karater Untuk Membentuk Perilaku Sopan Santun Siswa

Abstract

Education in schools is part of ongoing student learning, where the learning and teaching process aims not only to develop subject knowledge, but also social knowledge. They go through a process of character education, namely to form polite behavior. Courtesy is a good character, and civilization.  This study aims to identify whether the application of the roll paly technique can improve   students'   polite   behavior.   The   approach   in   this   research   usesquantitative research procedures, where researchers use information gathering methods in carrying out research, namely through observation, questionnaires. The research respondents were students of SMP Negeri 1 Tanggunggung, with a sample of several populations in the school starting from grades VII to IX chosen at random. The information analysis method in this research uses quantitative descriptive and observational analysis. After the service delivery process tried by the observers was adjusted to the recommendations and input from the expert test team, so that the results of applying the role play technique could improve the character of students' polite  behavior.
