Abstract

The ability to think critically is very important for students to have, because by thinking critically students will try to find a problem and will find a solution. The purpose of critical thinking is as a form of self-development and improvement. When students think critically, they will be superior to others, students can defend their arguments and criticize everything that blocks them. Critical thinking has several benefits including being able to make decisions correctly, easily solving cases, caring more and not underestimating everything, being more prepared when faced with challenges, seeing a problem from various perspectives, building self-confidence and independence. The purpose of critical thinking is to create a spirit of critical thinking that encourages students to question what they hear and examine their own thoughts to ensure that inconsistent or erroneous logic occurs.
