Abstract

Communication skill is an ability or expertise possessed by an individual in terms of communication which is obtained from exploring the potential that exists in him by means of training to overcome difficulties in expressing an opinion, idea, feeling. Communication skills are needed by introverted students to be able to act maturely, be able to express opinions or ideas clearly, be able to argue with others, and be able to respond to other people properly or not passively. This is in line with the opinion of Arends (2008) where communication skills can be seen from two aspects. The first aspect is the ability to argue and the second is the ability to respond to information. Communication skills are needed for individuals, especially introverted students because they are a capital in conveying ideas, opinions, and in problem solving. Forms of communication are divided into two, namely the first verbal communication and the second nonverbal communication. Students must train and must master the four language skills through language learning. The four language skills are listening skills, speaking skills, and reading skills, writing skills.
