Career maturity is an important skill for high school students because it relates to
their readiness to plan, choose, and make future career decisions. However, many
students still have low career maturity, as indicated by confusion in determining
further education or career choices that match their potential. This study aims to
determine the effectiveness of career guidance based on Donald E. Super's theory
in improving the career maturity of Grade XI students at SMAN 7 Kediri. This study
employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. Data were
collected using a career maturity scale tested for validity and reliability. The results
showed increased career maturity after students received career guidance
services. The Paired Sample t-Test obtained a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05),
indicating a significant difference before and after the intervention. The N-Gain test
result of 79.31% was categorized as effective. Thus, career guidance based on
Donald E. Super's theory is effective in improving students' career maturity.
