Abstract

Career selection is an important developmental task for class XI students, but many are confused about choosing a career due to limited information and conventional service methods. This research aims to develop and test the feasibility of Augmented Reality-based career media to help class XI students of SMAN 1 Kediri identify their career choices. The research used ADDIE's Research and Development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data were collected through observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaire, using qualitative descriptive analysis for observation, interview, and validator input, along with quantitative descriptive analysis for validity and practicality. The media combines barcoded profession cards with three-dimensional visualisation, reflection cards, and motivation cards. Validation by media experts, material experts, and BK practitioners obtained an average validity of 91.3% (very valid), while the practicality test by students obtained 92.6% (very practical). Findings show the media is feasible and practical for career counselling. Further research is suggested to develop more varied professions and test its effectiveness on career choice identification and career maturity.
