Abstract
Teenagers who are still in school and show excessive enthusiasm in using social media applications non-stop can be considered addicted. The meaning of self-management itself is a strategy to change behavior, where students can direct their own behavioral changes using certain techniques. Self-management is an action that is relatively easy to do compared to other psychotherapy methods. This technique can be applied through various approaches, such as groups, individuals, digital, or bibliotherapy, with stages that have been designed. Group guidance activities take place with several stages used. Dependence on social media is a behavior that tends towards negative things, where users spend more time opening social media and become indifferent to what is happening around them, because the virtual world is considered more interesting than the reality that is being lived
