Abstract
Self-discipline is very necessary for students, because it can help students control themselves well to obey and obey the rules at school. The phenomenon that occurs based on the results of observations at SMPN 2 Grogol found that students experience low self-discipline which is indicated by truant behavior, not doing assignments, and copying friends' assignments. If left unchecked, this will have an impact on students' declining academic scores. The purpose of this study was to develop a board game media angling dharma in improving self-discipline of junior high school students. The technique used is the R&D technique from Borg and gall to the product development stage. then, the role of the counselor is needed in improving student discipline. Counselors can develop angling dharma board game media through the noble values of the character of Prabu Angling Darma which are packaged in an attractive way. Thus, this media is also expected to give students enthusiasm and interest in learning about culture in counseling and guidance services
