This study aimed to examine the psychometric quality of the Career Decision-Making Scale through validity and reliability analyses. The study employed a quantitative approach with a psychometric analysis design involving 78 eleventh-grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Semen selected through simple random sampling. The instrument consisted of 30 items developed based on the career decision-making dimensions proposed by Betz and Taylor. Validity was assessed using Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, while reliability was analyzed using Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient. The results indicated that 25 out of 30 items were valid, whereas 5 items were found to be invalid. The instrument obtained a reliability coefficient of 0.822, which falls within the high reliability category. These findings demonstrate that the Career Decision-Making Scale possesses good validity and reliability, making it suitable for use as an assessment instrument in both research and guidance and counseling services.
