Pengembangan Media Rompi Ternama untuk Pembelajaran Sistem Pencernaan Siswa Kelas V SDN Mojoroto 4

This study was motivated by the low understanding of fifth-grade students at SDN Mojoroto 4 on the human digestive system due to the dominance of teacher-centered methods, shown by 85.18% of students failing to meet the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKTP) in the pretest. This research aimed to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the “Rompi Ternama” media in science learning. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, covering Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The subjects included material and media validators, a classroom teacher, and fifth-grade students, with 8 participating in limited trials and 19 in wider trials. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Results indicated that the media was highly valid (95.33% by material experts, 92% by media experts), highly practical (teacher responses at 92%, students at 93.75% in limited trials and 94.73% in wider trials), and very effective in improving understanding, as shown by classical mastery of 75% in limited trials and 84.21% in wider trials. Thus, this media is deemed suitable for classroom learning.
