Abstract

This study is motivated by observations made by researchers in the fifth grade of SD Negeri 3 Kedungombo, that the use of technology is still less than the maximum, especially in the use of media that are rarely used in learning activities make student learning outcomes low and less attractive to students to learn and be active in the classroom. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of crossword media based on wordwall material of human digestive organs. The research method used is the development and research (R&D) using ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementations, Evaluation). The validity result obtained a percentage of 98% by media expert validator and a percentage of 90% by material expert validator. The results of practicality obtained a percentage of 92.5% of the classroom teacher responses and a percentage of 92% of student responses. The effectiveness results obtained a percentage of 90% of the average value of 90 points from the results of extensive testing to 21 students
