Abstract

The development of pop up box audio learning media on animal morphology adaptation material for grade VI elementary school aims to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of pop up box audio media in the learning process and increase students' interest in learning. This research uses the R&D (Research and Developmrnt) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The results of the study show that pop up box audio media is very feasible to be used in learning activities by obtaining a validity score of 88.63% from media experts and 87.53% from material experts with very valid criteria. The audio pop up box media is said to be practical based on the results of the teacher's response questionnaire by obtaining a percentage of 88.88% and the student response questionnaire which obtained a percentage of 88.35% with very practical criteria. Pop up box audio media is said to be effective based on the results of student evaluation scores with a percentage of 93.71%. Therefore, pop up box audio media can be used as an effective alternative learning media in increasing students' interest in learning activities.
