Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Kotak Pintar Berbasis Explosion Box Materi IPA Siklus Hidup Hewan Kelas IV

This research aims to develop a smart box media based on an explosion box for the material on animal life cycles. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) employing the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection techniques include descriptive analysis for observation and interviews, as well as statistical analysis for calculating validity, practicality, and effectiveness scores. The validation results from media experts scored 88% and from material experts scored 90%, with an overall validity percentage of 89%, categorized as highly valid and feasible for use. The practicality results from the teacher response questionnaire scored 92%, and from the student response questionnaire scored 97%, with an accumulated practicality score of 94.5%, categorized as highly practical for use. The effectiveness of the media showed that students scored above the minimum mastery criteria (KKM), with an average score of 89.5 and a classical completeness rate of 90%, indicating the media is effective for use. From the research results, it can be concluded that the Kotak Pintar media based on an explosion box is very feasible to be used and applied as a learning media in fourth grade, successfully attracting students' interest and improving their learning outcomes.
