PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MAGIC BOX UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI SILA-SILA PANCASILA KELAS 1 SDN 1 TERTEK TAHUN 2025

Abstract

The education of Pancasila plays an important role in shaping the character and morals of students from an early age, but its implementation at SDN 1 Tertek has not been optimal. Based on observations and interviews, it was found that the teaching of the Pancasila principles in the first grade still uses lecture methods and less engaging media, which results in low student learning outcomes. To address this issue, this research aims to develop a magic box learning media to improve student learning outcomes. This research is a development study (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this study are 58 first-grade students from SDN 1 Tertek. Data collection techniques were carried out through expert validation, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The research results indicate that the magic box media is considered highly valid by subject and media experts, with percentage of 90.5%. The practicality of the media based on the questionnaire responses from students and teachers received an average score of 90.5% in the limited-scale trial and 94.5% in the wide-scale trial, indicating a very practical category. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test shows a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with an N-gain value of 0.7481 (high category) in the limited trial and 0.8578 (high category) in the wide trial. Thus, the magic box media is deemed suitable for use in the learning process of first-grade students at SDN 1 Tertek.
