Media Pembelajaran Sejarah Berbasis Smart Box Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Peserta Didik SMAN 6 Kediri

This research is motivated by the low interest in learning history among grade X students of SMAN 6 Kediri. This study aims to increase the interest of grade X students in learning history subjects on the material of the entry of Hinduism and Buddhism in Indonesia through the application of smart box learning media. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method which will produce a specific product and then the product is tested for its effectiveness in use. The development model used is AADIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). In this study, it shows that the use of smart box media has obtained significant results, including the validity of the media getting a score of 93.75%, the validity of the material getting a score of 75%, the effectiveness of the smart box media getting a percentage of classical learning completion of 85.29%, the practicality of the smart box media getting a score of 25 with a percentage of 89.28% in the very practical category, the acquisition of student learning outcomes getting a score of 0.67, the increase in student learning interest from the learning interest questionnaire getting a total score of 1,089 and getting a percentage of 90.75%. This value is included in the very high category. The results of this study indicate that smart box-based history learning media is successful and effective in increasing student learning interest in history lessons.
