Implementasi Media KOPIBAGUTAR Berbasis Model Snowball Throwing Materi Keliling dan Luas Bangun Datar

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the implications of the use of KOPIBAGUTAR (Smart Box of Flat Buildings) media based on the snowball throwing learning model on the activeness and improvement of student learning outcomes in learning mathematics material of the perimeter and area of flat buildings. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest pre-experimental design in order to compare the results from before getting treatment and after getting treatment. The sample used in this study was 26 grade V students of SDN Mojoroto 4 Kediri City. Data collection through test questions which were then analysed using the N-gain formula. Based on the results of data processing through the average N-gain formula, it was found that there was an increase in the average value of students' learning outcomes of 0.75 with a high improvement category. While the minimum value increase was 0.45 with a moderate improvement category. Then the maximum increase in value is 1.00 with a high improvement category. The conclusion is that KOPIBAGUTAR Media based on the snowball throwing model of perimeter and area of flat shapes is effective in increasing students' activeness and learning outcomes.
