The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed how prospective professionals
develop their identity and professional reputation. Nevertheless, personal branding literature
remains predominantly oriented toward self-promotion, marketing, and social media visibility,
with limited attention to professional identity formation in educational settings. This conceptual
article aims to develop a personal branding model based on values, competencies, academic
publication, and professional ethics for prospective counselors and educators. Employing a
conceptual research approach, the study critically reviews and synthesizes theories of
Professional Identity Formation, Social Cognitive Theory, and Authentic Personal Branding,
supported by contemporary literature. The proposed model conceptualizes personal branding
as an authentic representation of professional identity established through the integration of
core values, continuous competency development, scholarly publication, and adherence to
professional ethics. This perspective shifts personal branding from image management toward
sustainable professionalism. The model contributes to the advancement of personal branding
theory within educational contexts and provides a conceptual foundation for curriculum
development, professional preparation programs, and future empirical studies involving
prospective counselors and educators.
