Efektivitas Metode Demonstrasi didukung Media Gambar terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas IV

Research is motivated by the low science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Sugihwaras 2, especially in the material identifying the form and function of plant parts. This occurs because the learning process is still dominated by lecture methods and minimal use of learning media. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the demonstration method supported by image media in improving student learning outcomes. The study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest. The research sample consisted of 14 fourth-grade students, and data were collected through pretest and posttest tests analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000. This significance value is much smaller than 0.05, which indicates that there is a very significant difference between students' pretest and posttest scores. The conclusion of this study is that the demonstration method supported by image media is proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes on the material of the form and function of plant parts.
