Abstract

This study aims to develop and examine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the interactive learning media "BATU TUA" using Wordwall games for teaching plant parts and their functions to fourth-grade students at SDN Burengan 5, Kediri. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model. Participants include content and media validators, a fourth-grade teacher, and 24 fourth-grade students. Data collection instruments include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Results show that the media is highly valid, with scores of 98% for content and 92% for media validation. It is also highly practical, gaining 80% from teacher responses and 91.25% and 92.5% from student responses in limited and wide trials. The media is proven to be highly effective, achieving a classical posttest mastery of 87.5% in both limited and wide trials. In conclusion, the “BATU TUA” media is feasible for use in classroom learning to enhance students’ understanding of plant parts and their functions.
