Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Mahasiswa PGSD dalam Melakukan Validasi Ahli Materi Bahan Ajar PPKn Berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka

This community service activity aims to improve the competency of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students in conducting expert validation of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) teaching materials developed in accordance with the principles of the Independent Curriculum. To date, PGSD students generally experience difficulties in understanding the concept of expert validation, both in terms of material substance, language, and suitability to learning outcomes. This activity is implemented through two main stages: theoretical training and expert validation practice, as well as direct mentoring as students carry out the validation process on the teaching material designs they have prepared. The method used in this activity is a participatory approach that combines hands-on practice-based training with ongoing mentoring. The training is provided through intensive workshops that cover the principles of the Independent Curriculum, the characteristics of good teaching materials, and content validation techniques. During the training, students are actively involved in discussions, case studies, and validation simulations using prepared instruments. The results of the activity indicate that students experienced a significant increase in understanding of the concepts and procedures for teaching material validation. In addition, students are able to develop appropriate validation instruments and analyze the validation results well. This activity is expected to support the quality of PGSD graduates in compiling relevant, valid, and contextual teaching materials in accordance with the spirit of the Independent Curriculum.
