Analisis Kevalidan Media Papan Flanel Bergambar Terhadap Kemampuan Membaca Siswa Kelas 1 Sekolah Dasar

This research was motivated by the low reading ability of first-grade at SDN Pare 6. This caused by the lack of interactive learning media and only relying on textbooks, so that students feel bored with monotonous and passive reading learning. This research aims to analyze the validity of illustrated flannel board media on the reading ability of first-grade students. The development method used is Research and Development (R&D), by using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is the validity criteria. From the validation results show percentages of 90% from media experts, 83% from content experts, and 85% from practitioners. Thus, the flannel board media can be deemed valid and suitable for use in teaching reading to first-grade elementary students.
