Analisis Kebutuhan Pengembangan Multimedia Pada Materi Sistem Peredaran Darah Kelas V SDN Lirboyo 4 Kota Kediri

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in science learning regarding human blood circulation system materials in grade V at SDN Lirboyo 4 Kediri City, where the material is abstract and difficult for students to understand if only explained verbally using textbooks and simple presentations. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the need for developing innovative interactive learning media. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study involved 28 fifth-grade students and the fifth-grade teacher at SDN Lirboyo 4 Kediri City. Data collection techniques applied included interviews with the classroom teacher and distributing needs analysis questionnaires to students. The results showed that science learning is still dominated by the lecture method and has never utilized application-based interactive multimedia such as Articulate Storyline. Based on the questionnaire analysis, 23 students stated that they had difficulty understanding science material with the current media, 17 students admitted they did not understand the blood circulation system material, and 24 students believed their learning outcomes would increase if using multimedia. On the other hand, the teacher stated a strong need and willingness to implement digital interactive media since school facilities such as LCD projectors are already adequate. It can be concluded that there is a high need for the development of interactive multimedia based on Articulate Storyline on human blood circulation system materials to support a more effective, interesting, and independent learning process for students.
