Abstract

Instructional media plays an important role in helping teachers deliver material more effectively. However, at SDN Karangtengah 3, the use of instructional media remains limited and suboptimal, which impacts students' low learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of interactive E-book media as a learning tool for fable material in Grade III at SDN Karangtengah 3. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects were third-grade students at SDN Karangtengah 3. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and tests. The results showed that the media achieved a feasibility score of 90% and a material score of 92%, both categorized as highly valid. Student responses reached 90%, and teacher responses 96%, indicating the media was highly practical. The effectiveness of the media reached 83% in limited trials and 93% in wider trials, both classified as highly effective. Thus, the interactive E-book on fables for Grade III Indonesian language learning is considered highly valid, practical, and effective, making it suitable for classroom use in elementary schools.
