Strategi Konselor dalam Menjembatani Kepercayaan Mistis Lokal dengan Pola Pikir Modern Generasi Z melalui Layanan BK Multibudaya

Abstract

The tension between local mystical beliefs and the modern mindset of Generation Z has become a significant issue within school counseling services. Rapid social transformation often places young people between traditional values and contemporary rational thinking. This article explores the urgency of the counselor’s role in bridging these contrasting perspectives through an inclusive multicultural counseling approach that is sensitive to cultural contexts. The primary aim is to outline conceptual strategies that counselors can employ to facilitate cultural dialogue, understand value diversity, and help students integrate local beliefs with modern thought in a balanced manner. This article is developed entirely from literature review, drawing upon books, scientific articles, and academic publications, without involving empirical research. The discussion shows that multicultural competence, cultural value exploration, and reframing techniques are essential theoretical components for effective counseling practice. This work offers practical contributions by recommending the strengthening of multicultural competence and the development of educational resources to support school counseling services.
