This article discusses the role of school counselors in developing intercultural tolerance among Generation Z students within diverse school environments. Generation Z, known as digital natives, grows in a multicultural context shaped by differences in ethnicity, language, religion, and social background, which creates both opportunities for positive interaction and potential sources of conflict. The purpose of this article is to analyze the challenges experienced by students in developing tolerance and to describe effective guidance and counseling strategies that can be applied in schools. The discussion highlights issues such as stereotypes, communication barriers, cyberbullying, and cultural misunderstandings, which often disrupt social harmony. Furthermore, the article outlines the central role of school counselors as facilitators, mediators, and value educators in handling cultural conflicts. Several strategies are presented, including group counseling, multicultural classroom guidance, digital-based social campaigns, and role-playing activities as practical efforts to cultivate empathy and respect for diversity among students.
