This article explores the role of Solution-Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) in supporting anger management among Generation Z students within the school setting. Today’s adolescents face various emotional pressures related to academic demands, social interactions, and digital exposure, which may increase the risk of anger dysregulation. SFBC, as a brief and solution-oriented counseling approach, emphasizes students’ strengths, exceptions, and achievable goals to foster positive emotional change. This literature review integrates findings from studies on SFBC, emotional regulation, self-control, and adolescent anger management. The analysis shows that SFBC techniques such as miracle questions, scaling questions, and exception finding effectively enhance students’ awareness of emotional triggers, strengthen coping strategies, and reduce aggressive behaviors. Furthermore, the brief and collaborative nature of SFBC aligns well with the characteristics of Generation Z, who prefer practical and efficient interventions. Overall, SFBC demonstrates significant potential as a school-based approach to help students manage anger more adaptively and improve their interpersonal functioning.
