Abstract

 

The social environment is the scope of social interactions that occur between people and groups while still adhering to the rules of society. The social emotional development of adolescents in Senior High School (SMA) is considered to be greatly influenced by social environmental factors. This is because adolescents in high school experience emotional changes in the midst of searching for their identity, so that the environment becomes a factor that needs to be considered in the emotional development of adolescents. This study aims to determine how the social environment influences children's social emotional development. This study is included in qualitative research that uses two systematic review processes, namely studying the literature and identifying scientific articles as supporting research data. The results of the study indicate that there are two aspects of the social environment that are considered to influence the social emotional development of adolescents in high school, namely the family environment aspect and the school environment aspect.
