Truancy behavior among students is a fairly common phenomenon, with many students choosing to skip school as a form of venting boredom with learning activities in class. One factor that plays a role in this behavior is the lack of self-control in students, which can influence their decision to follow the truancy behavior carried out by their peers. This behavior is often influenced by peer pressure that encourages students to conform or seek acceptance in their social environment. Strong motivation in the school environment is very important to increase students' enthusiasm for learning, however, peer influence has a greater impact on shaping student behavior. Students who are influenced by peers tend to skip school so as not to feel isolated or feel free from school rules. Therefore, it is important to develop student self-control and create a supportive environment in schools to minimize truancy behavior.
