Hedonism behavior is a widespread phenomenon among vocational high school students. This study aims to describe the internal and external factors influencing the hedonism behavior of students at SMKN 1 Kediri, and how they express and interpret it. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Five students were selected as primary informants and two guidance teachers as secondary informants through purposive sampling. Data were collected via in-depth interviews, non-participatory observation, and documentation, then analyzed using data condensation, display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that hedonistic behavior is driven by internal (self-actualization) and external factors (social media and peers). This behavior is expressed through trend-following appearances and leisure activities, interpreted as pleasure despite reducing learning focus. In conclusion, guidance and counseling teachers need to optimize group guidance services using transformative techniques like sociodrama to improve students' self-control and self-regulation.
