This study aims to determine the tendency of consumptive behavior in terms of the peer environment of high school students. A quantitative approach with an ex post facto method was employed. Data were collected using validated and reliable questionnaire on peer environment and consumptive behavior, then analyzed through simple linear regression using IBM SPSS Statistics. The results reveal that the peer environment has a positive and significant effect on students’ consumptive behavior, as indicated by a regression coefficient of 0.605, t = 7.046 (p < 0,05), and F = 49.643 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R2 = 0.402), which means that the peer environment contributes 40.2% to the consumptive behavior of students, while 59.8% is influenced by other factors outside the study. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the peer environment has a significant influence on the consumptive behavior of high school students. The higher the influence of the peer environment, the higher the tendency for students to engage in consumer behavior.
