Students from Eastern Indonesia at SMA Negeri 3 Kediri City face various
challenges in adapting to a new environment, including differences in culture,
language, and communication patterns. Their social dynamics include the process
of cultural adaptation, interaction with local students, and the formation of
harmonious social relationships. This study highlights the importance of the role of
the school environment in creating an inclusive atmosphere through teacher
mentoring, cultural introduction, and community empowerment. In addition to facing
challenges such as stereotypes and communication barriers, this diversity is also
an opportunity to increase tolerance and enrich students' learning experiences.
With proper management, cultural diversity can be a force for creating solidarity and
harmony in the educational environment.
