Paradigma Bimbingan dan Konseling Pada Abad-21

Abstract

The role of guidance and counseling in the demands of humans in the 21^st century is becoming increasingly comprehensive. The guidance and counseling profession is a relatively young profession n Indonesia. As a new profession, many mistakes occur, one of which is considering the guidance and counseling profession as a static profession. The impact of this error is that the services provided by theses professional actors are not contextual, not in accordance with the needs and demands of the community. So, insight is needed regarding paradigm changes in guidance and counseling, namely changes in paradigms from the past, present, and future paradigms. An understanding of the change in the guidance and counseling paradigm needs to be considered by both guidance and counseling professional actors (guidance and counseling teachers at schools or counselors) well for the future.
