Penerapan Problem Based Learning (PBL) Dalam Layanan BK Klasikal Untuk Pemahaman Karir Siswa SMK

Career understanding is an important provision for Vocational High School (SMK) students in designing a future that is in accordance with their potential and the demands of the world of work. However, classical guidance services that are one-way in nature are still less than optimal in building active student involvement. To answer this challenge, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach is applied in classical BK services as an innovative strategy that is centered on students. PBL encourages students to solve relevant career problems, think critically, and reflect on life choices independently. The application of this approach focuses on four important aspects in career understanding: recognizing one's potential, understanding types of work, linking education to work, and developing a career plan. Through this service, it is hoped that students will be able to develop career awareness more actively and realistically. The application of PBL in classical guidance can also be a reference for BK teachers in developing services that are participatory, contextual, and according to the needs of SMK students.
