Dampak Sosial Ekonomi Ritual Larung Sesaji Di Kawah Gunung Kelud Terhadap Masyarakat Setempat

Abstract

The socio-economic life of the community is strongly influenced by several factors that can determine the high and low socio-economic conditions of a society. The objectives of this study are (1) to identify and analyze the socio-economic impact of the larung offerings tradition on the local community (2) how the local community attempts to preserve the larung offerings tradition (3) how the socio-economic impacts of the larung offerings are made. This type of research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Mount Kelud is one of the natural attractions in Kediri Regency which has its own charm, one of which is cultural tourism, namely the Larung Sesaji ritual which is held once a year, precisely in the suro month, local people can take advantage of this tourist attraction to find a daily livelihood. Can be a place for profit if the local community is able to improve and offer natural tourism and the culture contained in it so that it can help the economy of the local community. The majority of the people around the slopes of Mount Kelud make a living as farmers, there is a wide expanse of pineapple gardens belonging to residents. Pineapple is the iconic fruit of Mount Kelud.
