Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of multicultural counseling in improving high school students' understanding of cultural communication. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining various related studies. The results show that cultural diversity in schools often creates communication barriers, such as differences in language, values, and interaction styles. Multicultural counseling helps students understand these differences, reduce prejudice, and build more inclusive social relationships. Thus, multicultural counseling plays an important role in strengthening cross-cultural communication skills and creating a harmonious school environment.
