Abstract

Self awareness is an important ability that must be possessed by students especially at the high school level, which is the late adolescence and the process of searching for identity. Self-awareness helps students in recognizing their strengths, weaknesses, and emotions, as well as interacting positively with others. However, low self-awareness often hinders students social and academic development. To increase self-awareness, a creative and relevant approach is needed, one of which is through traditional and educational game media. This study discusses the implementation of the CONGDARDIR (Congklak Kesadaran Diri) game, a modification of the traditional game of congklak, as a tool to increase students self-awareness. The game is designed to encourage students to engage in self-reflection, improve social skills, and engage local cultural values. By using a fun and interactive approach, the CONGDARDIR game is expected to create an atmosphere that supports the development of students self-awareness in counseling guidance services. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the CONGDARDIR game in increasing self-awareness of high school students, as well as provide recommendations for further implementation in the context of guidance and counseling media.
