Pengembangan Media Permainan Career’s Adventure “Ludo Takon” untuk Pemilihan Karir Siswa

Abstract

This research is motivated by students at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kediri who find it difficult to choose a career after graduation. In addition, counseling teachers lack innovation to provide career guidance services, resulting in low student interest in participating in these services. This study aims to help improve student career selection at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kediri by developing career's adventure “ludo takon” media. The research and development model used in this study is R&D using the Borg and Gall development model with 10 stages of development and by researchers modified to 5. The results of media validation by material experts obtained a score of 0.9, by media experts 1.00 and by guidance and counseling teachers obtained a score of 1.00. Based on the categorization criteria, the validation results are included in the very valid category. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the career's adventure media “ludo takon” is declared feasible, and practical to use as media in Guidance and Counseling services and succeeds in attracting student interest, and improving career selection skills in students.
