Cultural diversity among students in vocational high schools requires inclusive educational approaches, particularly in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. However, educational practices that lack cultural sensitivity may lead to cultural bias. This study aims to examine the role of multicultural counseling in reducing cultural bias within the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in vocational schools. The study employed a qualitative approach using a literature review design by analyzing relevant scholarly journal articles published between 2015 and 2025. The findings indicate that multicultural counseling contributes to enhancing cultural sensitivity in guidance and counseling services, fostering an inclusive school climate, and minimizing the dominance of certain cultural values in educational practices. Multicultural counseling also supports the strengthening of diversity values and educational equity. It can be concluded that multicultural counseling is a strategic approach to supporting the fair and inclusive implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in vocational high schools.
