Studi Kepustakaan Efektivitas Music Therapy untuk Mereduksi Kecemasan terhadap Individu

The purpose of this research is to examine the literature on Music Therapy which includes targets and scope, procedures, and the success of music therapy for reduce individual anxiety.The research method used is literature review. The data source used is how many 20 research journals that show a connection with the problem to be studied. The data collection technique used is documentation (document analysis). The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The validity of data on the application of art therapy that has been sought, collected, and analyzed will be checked through inter-literature checks relating to the application of art therapy and by taking into account the comments of the supervisor. The result of this study are: (1) The target of music therapy is young children to adults who are female and male with range age from 3 to 85. The music therapy scope is about General anxiety, Clinical Anxiety,Speaking Anxiety and Academic Anxiety. (2) The procedures of music therapy consist 3 main stages, namely preparation stage, therapy/counseling stage, and termination stage. Music therapy can be conducted as groups. Duration therapy hold in 5-180 minutes. (3) The successful of music therapy for reduce individual anxiety is effective and succeed to lower the level of anxiety experienced by each individuals. Recommendations from the results of this study are as a consideration in providing alternative guidance and counseling services in collaboration with other counseling approaches and it is necessary to develop a more mature study for the provision of guidance and counseling services in the future.
