Self-discipline is an essential character trait that supports students' academic and personal development. However, observations at SMA Negeri 6 Kediri indicated that many students demonstrated low self-discipline, including lateness, truancy, incomplete assignments, and low classroom participation. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of group guidance using self-management techniques in improving students' self-discipline. The study employed a quantitative pre-experimental approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Ten Grade X students with low self-discipline were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a 36-item self-discipline scale with high reliability (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.916). Data analysis included the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Paired Sample t-test, and N-Gain analysis. The results showed a significant increase in students' self-discipline, with the mean score improving from 64.50 to 110.70. The Paired Sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), while the average N-Gain was 58.24%, indicating a moderately effective intervention. Therefore, group guidance using self-management techniques was proven effective in improving students' self-discipline.
