Data were collected using a self-esteem scale and analyzed using descriptive statistics, the paired-samples t-test, and the N-Gain test. The results showed that the mean self-esteem score increased from 112.30 to 133.70 after the intervention, with a significance value of <0.001 and an N-Gain score of 0.7344, indicated high effectiveness. These findings suggest that a humanistic approach combined with the inner child therapy technique effective alternative intervention for enchancing students’ self esteem in guidance and counseling, while future studies should involve larger samples and control groups to strengthen the findings.
