Abstract

This study examines the impact of teachers' perceptions on the MBKM Program Kampus Mengajar Batch 7 at SDN Kawedusan 1, Plosoklatten District, Kediri Regency. The background of this study is the MBKM policy that aims to provide off-campus learning experiences for students, one of which is through the Kampus Mengajar program that involves students as teacher partners to improve the quality of learning, especially literacy and numeracy. Although SDN Kawedusan 1 has achieved good literacy and numeracy achievements, the program is still implemented, raising questions about its impact. The purpose of this study is to describe the condition of literacy and numeracy before and after the program, the nature of teacher understanding, program implementation, teacher perceptions, and its impact. Using a qualitative approach with a case study strategy, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation from the principal, teachers, and education staff. The results show that the Kampus Mengajar Program Batch 7 has a positive impact on improving student literacy and numeracy at SDN Kawedusan 1. The majority of school residents have a positive perception because students are considered to help learning, bring innovation, and create a pleasant learning atmosphere. Although there were differences in understanding at the beginning, this could be overcome through good coordination and communication, showing that positive teacher perceptions were key to the program's success.
