Abstract

The click phenomenon at SMK PGRI 2 is to analyze the impact of the existence of social groups (cliques) on the social life of students at SMK PGRI 2 Kediri.

This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods using interviews, observations, and documents to identify patterns of behavior, social relationships, and the positive and negative impacts caused by clicks.

The data analysis technique in this research uses Miles and Huberman's theory.

The results of the research show that the existence of a clique has a significant impact on the social life of students who are members of the clique, and also students who are not members of the clique, which includes three aspects, namely: (1) Psychological impact, namely experiencing emotional changes, changes in attitudes, and self-control, ( 2) Academic impact, feeling that their enthusiasm and focus on learning has increased, because of the support and solidarity from fellow clique members, their academic achievement is slowly always increasing (3) Social impact, students become easy to get along with and adapt to their surrounding environment, from initially being closed off to being more self-confidence, (4) Overcoming negative impacts, for preventing this click on things that have a bad impact on students (5) Utilizing positive impacts can be used to motivate individuals to explore their potential. These findings provide important insights for schools and parents in creating an inclusive social environment and supporting holistic student development
