Abstract

In the era of globalization which is growing from year to year, there is very rapid development in the field of increasingly sophisticated technology. Increasingly sophisticated technology has both positive and negative effects depending on its use, apart from having a positive impact, the presence of the internet also has a negative impact on students if it is used incorrectly. Students often abuse the internet for things that are not important and harm themselves, such as playing on social media. Excessive use of the TikTok application can unconsciously make it difficult for students to concentrate. This research method uses qualitative research with a research study type. Researchers conducted interviews about the use of TikTok social media on student learning concentration. If this continues, students will lose interest in learning. The researcher's aim is to examine how the use of the TikTok application affects students' learning concentration and causes a decrease in learning concentration for some students.
