Optimalisasi Media Sosial Berbasis Kearifan Lokal untuk Pembelajaran Inovatif di SMK PGRI 2 Kediri

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has made social media an integral students' daily lives, especially among Generation Z. This condition provides opportunities for educational institutions to optimize social media as an innovative learning medium while preserving local wisdom. This conceptual article aims to examine the optimization of social media based on local wisdom in creating innovative learning at SMK PGRI 2 Kediri. The discussion is based on literature studies from various scientific references related to social media, digital learning, Generation Z, and local wisdom. The discussion indicates that integrating social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and WhatsApp with local cultural values can support project-based learning, improve digital literacy, foster creativity, and strengthen students' appreciation of local culture. Therefore, optimizing social media based on local wisdom can become an alternative learning strategy to prepare students with twenty-first-century competencies while supporting the preservation of regional culture.
