Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Animasi untuk Mengajarkan Konsep Penjumlahan dan Pengurangan pada Anak Usia Dini

Early childhood is a period of rapid development, requiring learning approaches that match their unique characteristics. One crucial aspect is numeracy introduction, especially the concepts of addition and subtraction, which are often difficult for young children to grasp due to monotonous and less innovative teaching methods. Observations in early childhood education institutions show that many young children struggle with numeracy because of conventional methods and the lack of engaging learning media. This study aims to develop animation-based learning media that integrates everyday life stories to enhance motivation, interest, and numeracy understanding in early childhood. The animation media is expected to provide an enjoyable, interactive, and contextual learning experience, thereby overcoming the limitations of conventional teaching and supporting optimal numeracy development in young children
