Abstract

Education consists of various kinds of knowledge which in the future will be useful for students to use in dealing with their lives in the present and the future. Therefore a teacher must be capable in terms of designing and delivering material in learning so as to arouse curiosity in students about the material presented. Without a learning process that leads to discovery, mathematics learning will not be absorbed perfectly by our students. Therefore, in mathematics subjects, learning media is needed which makes it easier for students to understand the material by requiring the teacher's creativity in presenting the material to make it more attractive to students. One of them is by packaging material in the form of learning media that can assist teachers in utilizing existing facilities in schools so that they can help improve learning outcomes in mathematics. This study aims to describe animated video media as one of the learning media in elementary school learning. The results of this study indicate that geometric animation video media can improve student learning outcomes after being applied in the learning process.
