The phenomenon of rampant cyberbullying behavior has led this study to examine the influence of social anxiety and self-esteem on cyberbullying behavior in adolescents who use social media at SMAN 1 Srengat. The approach used is quantitative correlation with a sample of 80 students, obtained through simple random sampling techniques. This approach was chosen because it aims to test the relationship between social anxiety and self-esteem variables on cyberbullying behavior among adolescents. The instruments used include the Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescents, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, and Cyberbullying Offending, which have gone through validity and reliability. The results of the analysis show that social anxiety and self-esteem simultaneously have a significant effect on cyberbullying behavior. Social anxiety has a positive effect, while self-esteem has a negative effect. This means that the higher the social anxiety, the more likely adolescents are to commit cyberbullying. Conversely, the higher the self-esteem, the lower the tendency. The conclusion of this study confirms that psychological factors play an important role in adolescent digital behavior. Therefore, it is recommended that Guidance and Counseling teachers develop intervention programs to increase self-esteem and help students manage social anxiety. This effort is expected to reduce cyberbullying behavior and create a more positive school environment.
