Elementary school students' reading literacy skills still need to be improved. Based on observations and interviews conducted at SDN Burengan 5 Kediri City and SDN Jati Kediri City, reading literacy activities were still dominated by the use of printed textbooks, the utilization of technology-based learning media remained limited, and no digital learning media based on Kediri folktales were available as learning resources. These conditions resulted in less varied literacy activities, indicating the need for innovative, engaging, and contextual learning media to support the improvement of students' reading literacy. This study aimed to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Digital Reading Wall media based on Kediri folktales in improving the reading literacy skills of third-grade elementary school students. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research subjects included 17 third-grade students from SDN Jati Kediri City in the limited trial and 24 third-grade students from SDN Burengan 5 Kediri City in the field trial. Data were collected through expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires, and reading literacy tests administered as pre-tests and post-tests. The data were analyzed using Aiken's V coefficient to assess validity, percentage analysis to determine practicality, and the N-Gain test to evaluate the effectiveness of the developed media. The findings indicated that the Digital Reading Wall media based on Kediri folktales met the validity criteria based on the assessments of media experts, material experts, and test-item experts, with Aiken's V values ranging from 0.75 to 1.00, indicating valid to highly valid categories. The practicality results showed teacher response scores of 87.5%, student response scores of 85.62% in the limited trial, and 85.19% in the field trial, all of which were categorized as highly practical. The effectiveness of the media was demonstrated by the improvement in students' reading literacy skills, as indicated by the N-Gain scores of 0.58 in the limited trial and 0.61 in the field trial, both of which fell into the moderate category. Therefore, the Digital Reading Wall media based on Kediri folktales is considered valid, highly practical, and effective for improving the reading literacy skills of third-grade elementary school students.
